Industrial Visit

On 6th July 2024, 61 M.Tech Computer Science Engineering(5 years integrated) students from Sairam Engineering College, Chennai, embarked on an industrial visit to Askan Technologies. The visit provided a unique opportunity for students to immerse themselves in a real-world tech environment.
Upon arrival, the students were given a tour of Askan Technologies, where they observed various components and roles within the company. This tour showcased the practical applications of their academic knowledge, highlighting cutting-edge innovations and industry practices.
A key part of the visit was an insightful session by a resource person from Askan Technologies. She provided a comprehensive overview of what HR professionals expect from freshers, offering valuable tips on how to attend and succeed in interviews. She also discussed the pros and cons of being an entrepreneur, encouraging the students to pursue their goals while offering reality checks about the current IT world. Additionally, she talked about the company’s work culture and internship opportunities.
The visit concluded with an engaging Q&A session, where students could clarify their doubts and gain further insights. Overall, the industrial visit was an eye-opening experience, providing students with a deeper understanding of the industry and preparing them for their future careers.
