The department of M.Tech Computer science & engineering Integrated is a 5 year program offering BTech & MTech degree with the objective to provide accelerated advanced industry focused learning. Emerged in the academic year 2021-2022, adding to Sri Sairam engineering college’s list of esteemed programs, the integrated program inherits the core curriculum from CSE department, including cutting edge technologies like Big Data Analytics, Internet of Things, Design Thinking, Internet of Things, BlockChain Technology, Artificial Intelligence, Cloud computing, Machine Learning,Full stack Development and Data Science.
The department provides a platform of learning and practicing real time projects with its excellent lab facilities with latest softwares. With experienced staff from industrial background, the learning experience bridges the gap between academics and industry.
The department has futuristic plans to tie up with industries to mentor the students and equip them towards industry based learning. Further, the students will be trained by the personnel of corporate & industrial relations to ensure they are ready for industrial culture. Post the four years of academic learning, the students will be facilitated to do industry based projects for early sensing of industrial adaptation. Equal opportunity will be provided for the students interested in research with Government research organization, tie ups, enabling them to take up PhD and Postdoctoral courses.
The department encourages the students to participate and make the students excel in cocurricular & extracurricular activities. In order to make the students work along with the industries, the department organises various events like codeathon, Hackathon along with industry. By this, students get opportunities to interact with industry people.
The department interacts with industry and sets up the interview process to secure internships, encouraging students to work with industries and obtain paid internships. In this way, students earn money while they learn.
Always we encourage the students to raise the questions why, when, how ,where …When we raise such questions, it will increase the student’s inquisitive power. By this, students’ innovative ideas come out. This inculcates the students to think innovatively and convert the ideas into useful products.
Department Initiatives:
The association is paving the way in facilitating students in organizing and participating in national symposiums. Every year, the Association of M.TECH CSE-SAI INFOBLITZ-INNOVATIA, in collaboration with IEEE, hosts national technical symposium. Students from all throughout India come to this symposium. The students showcase their skills in a variety of fascinating activities. The association also hosts workshops, seminars, guest lecturers on advanced themes, international conferences, national conferences, and workshops.
The largest technical association in the world, IEEE (Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers) offers its membership access to the latest technical resources and the most recent information available. Our central library has access to the bulk of the journals and magazines released by IEEE. Our institution also offers online access to the publications. We motivate the students to become IEEE members.
The department also has student chapter of CSI which regularly organizes various value-added programs for the benefit of the students. Every M.Tech-CSE student is a member of the CSI.
