Under the expert guidance of their mentor, Mr. M. Ahsan Shariff, the team displayed exceptional skill, innovation, and teamwork to emerge as the 1st place winners in this prestigious national-level event. They were awarded a well-deserved cash prize of ₹50,000 for their outstanding performance.

The Smart India Hackathon 2024, held at Amity University, Chhattisgarh, on December 11 and 12, 2024, is a flagship initiative aimed at promoting problem-solving skills and encouraging innovation among students across India. Competing against some of the brightest minds in the country, the team’s innovative solution stood out for its creativity, technical excellence, and potential impact.

On 12th November 2024, Surya A. and Sivanesh K.S. participated in the prestigious SRM SDG Hackathon, hosted by the SRM Institute of Science and Technology. Competing against a pool of talented students from various institutions across the country, they showcased their exceptional technical skills, creativity, and innovative problem-solving abilities.

Their project, which was designed to address one of the pressing challenges aligned with the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), stood out for its ingenuity and potential real-world impact. The team’s hard work, dedication, and innovative thinking earned them the coveted First Prize and a cash award of ₹20,000.

The SRM SDG Hackathon is a highly competitive event aimed at fostering creativity and collaboration among young innovators, encouraging them to develop solutions that contribute to a sustainable future.
