Surya and Sivanesh from M.Tech CSE (2021-2026), along with Naren Kumar from CSE, seized a unique opportunity to showcase their startup before prominent investors in Salem on September 30th, 2023, through StartNet Ventures Private Limited. This experience proved invaluable, offering profound insights from tech experts, including a motivating speech from marketing strategist Mani Maran Ramalingam.

From a pool of over 600 applicants, these brilliant minds emerged victorious, clinching an initial funding of ₹1,00,000 to fuel the development of their groundbreaking prototype. The trio, particularly the dynamic duo of Sivanesh and Surya, showcased unparalleled teamwork and unwavering dedication during a grueling 3-day orientation bootcamp at IIT Hyderabad, held on October 29, 30, and 31. This intensive session delved into the nuances of the Tech Entrepreneurship Ecosystem, Design Thinking, Intellectual Property, the 6 D’s of Technology, Elevator Pitching, Business Model Canvas, Branding & Storytelling, and Pitch Deck Design.

Surya A and Sivanesh K S from the 3rd year of M.Tech CSE(2021-2026), Naren Kumar SS and Krishna Kumar S from the 3rd year of B.Tech CSE, have reached a significant milestone with their project, “Smart Stick Vehicle: Unlocking Enhanced Mobility Solutions.” Their innovative project secured a commendable position in the top 10 among numerous participants. Furthermore, the team showcased their inventive prowess at Rhapsody ’23 – INNOVATEX in IISC Bangalore on 13-10-2023, securing an impressive– 5th place and a substantial cash prize.

Our 2nd year M.Tech CSE student Yogitha M won third place in the Artzilla contest – drawing competition receiving a merit certificate along with a cash prize in SKILLS ‘N’ THRILLS” event by M-Apps club in association with the skill development club of Sri Sairam Engineering College – 10/10/2022 to 11/10/2022.

The M-Apps club of Sri Sairam Engineering College conducted the AICTE sponsored event “SKILLS ‘N’ THRILLS” in association with the skill development club of Sri Sairam Engineering College from 10/10/2022 to 11/10/2022. It consists of various events such as Debugging, Artzilla, AD-Mad, picsque, free ticket and block and tackle.

Our student Yogitha M of 2nd year of M.Tech CSE won third place in the Artzilla contest – drawing competition. She received a merit certificate along with a cash prize of rupees 500/-.

Jeppiar Institute of Technology, Department of Computer Science and Engineering organized TECHISETZ’22 on 26th November 2022.
Our Department student SURYA A has secured 2nd place in both Individual Technical events CODEBOT and DEBUGGING receiving a cash award and felicitation certificate. He has also secured 2nd place in a non-technical team event BIOSCOPE receiving a gorgeous momento and a felicitation certificate.

IEEE student branch conducted an event of BID and BUZZ in the IEEE Day 2022 Carnival on 11th October 2022. Our Department students JAYASHREE S and JANANI GOWTHAM as a team won first place receiving a cash award and felicitation certificate.

Jeppiaar Institute of Technology, CSI STUDENT BRANCH, conducted an event of CODE WAR in which M.Tech -CSE students Kamalesh Kumar Saravanan and Niveditha.S won first and third prize respectively.

The National Service Scheme, in association with the English Literary Club and SSEC IEEE Professional Communication Society SBC, conducted an essay competition. M.tech CSE Department student Sivanesh K S, won the third prize, receiving a cash award. He also gained the opportunity to participate in a national-level competition and make an industrial visit to Kalpakkam.

The Department of Computer Science and Engineering in association with Skillkora Labs conducted a SKILLFEST’22 -An Ideathon and a 24-hr Hackathon Event. The students of the department of M.tech CSE SIVANESH K S, SHRIVANI R, and SHAHANA DEVI V as team-TECHVERSE won 5th place in the Ideathon event. These students were offered a 4-weeks intern with Skillkora Labs and a 50% fee waiver for AI/ML Course.

The Department of Physical Education organised SEETHARAMAN AND LAKSHMIAMMAL MEMORIAL TROPHY, An State Level Inter Engineering Tournament on 29.09.2022 & 30.09.2022. M.tech CSE Department student KANISH K won 4th place in the Badminton-Men event. He was awarded with a cash prize and a felicitation certificate.

Our students Muthu Anand SU and Kamalesh Kumar Saravanan (2021-2022 ) of 1st Year, have won the Third place in the event “STUPID CODE – An exhilarating event that will test your coding skills in a fun-filled way”, conducted by the Code Club of Sairam Institutions and IEEE Information Theory Society Student Branch Chapter on 20th April 2022

Pavithra and Roshan from first year M.Tech-CSE (2021 Bactch) participated in the National Level Technical Symposium, which was held at Easwari Engineering College on 06.05.22 – Detono2k22, and won second prize with a cash reward of 1000 Rs for their paper presentation.
