The Department of M.Tech Computer Science and Engineering (5-Year Integrated) at Sri Sairam Engineering College, in collaboration with the IEEE SMC (Systems, Man, and Cybernetics) society, proudly hosted its annual symposium INNOVATIA 3.0 on September 11th, 2024. The event was held at the prestigious Beta Hall and saw overwhelming participation from students across multiple colleges, making it a grand success.
The symposium featured a dynamic blend of technical and non-technical events that allowed participants to showcase their skills and creativity. The events included:
– Cryptic Heist
– DevQuest
– Voyage of Visions
– CraftWave
– M.A.D.D Wars
– Sictone
The event commenced at 9:30 a.m. with an inspiring keynote address by Dr. C.R. Rene Robin, followed by the inaugural address delivered by the esteemed chief guest, Mr. Gopi Narayanaswamy. With over 25 years of experience in IT infrastructure, design, and cybersecurity operations, Mr. Narayanaswamy shared valuable insights on emerging trends in the IT industry, the growing importance of cybersecurity, and the potential of startups in the tech world. Sai Infoblitz – Chairperson, R. Shrivani (4th year), delivered the welcome address, setting the tone for an exciting day of events. A total of 200 students attended the symposium, including 55 from various reputed colleges. The day was filled with competitive energy as students vied for top honors in both technical and non-technical categories.
One of the highlights of the symposium was the Best Performer awards, which were presented to G. Hasumathi Lakshmi (3rd year) and R. Shrivani (4th year) for their outstanding participation. Winners of various events were also awarded certificates and cash prizes in recognition of their achievements.
The event concluded at 4:00 p.m. with a vote of thanks by Sai Infoblitz – Vice Chairperson, G. Sriram (4th year) , marking the end of a successful and impactful symposium. Special thanks go to all participants, dignitaries, and volunteers who contributed to making INNOVATIA 3.0 an unforgettable experience for everyone involved.
